Keep Them
Looking Good.
Treat them right and they will go as long as you do. These are not precious just follow a few basics.
Washing.
Machine Wash at 30°C
That is the sweet spot. Hot water breaks down the fibres over time and fades the design. Keep it cool and they will last.
Turn Them Inside Out
Protects the printed design from friction in the drum. Takes two seconds and makes a real difference over time.
Use a Gentle Cycle
A delicate or sports cycle is ideal. Avoid heavy spin it puts unnecessary stress on the elastic and arch compression.
Avoid Fabric Softener
Fabric softener coats the fibres and kills the moisture-wicking performance. Skip it entirely.
Drying.
Skip the Tumble Dryer
High heat is the number one way to shrink the sock and warp the design. Air dry flat or hang them up they dry fast.
No Direct Radiator Heat
Draping them on a hot radiator has the same effect as a dryer. Room temperature air is all they need.
Keep Out of Direct Sunlight
UV light fades bold colours over time. Dry them somewhere shaded if possible.
General.
No Bleach
Ever. It will destroy the colour and weaken the fabric. If something needs treating, use a mild stain remover on the affected area only before washing.
Don't Iron the Print
If you need to iron them (we get it, some people do), use a low heat on the reverse side only. Never iron directly over the design.
Wash Before First Wear
It is always good practice with new socks. Removes any residual dye or finishing agents from production.
